Several Las Vegas Strip casinos have banned a popular influencer, John Cerasani, from their properties.

Several Las Vegas Strip casino properties have barred a popular casino table games influencer for promoting an unlicensed bookie during his streams.

Major Gambling Influencer Banned from Las Vegas Strip Casinos

You won't be seeing John Cerasani livestreaming blackjack play from many Las Vegas Strip casinos anytime soon.

The popular casino table games influencer with around 800,000 followers on Instagram and big followings on other social media sites has been barred from multiple Las Vegas Strip casinos.

The "crime" in the eyes of the casinos? Cerasani promoted an unlicensed offshore gambling site, mybookie.ag, on his Instagram feed.

Although the platform accepts USA players, it is not licensed in any state in the union. The Curacao-based online casino and sportsbook has, however, been in the news state-side, as earlier this year the Michigan Gaming Control Board (MGCB) sent them a cease-and-desist letter, alleging that MyBookie was violating two state laws, the Gaming Control and Revenue Act and the Internet Gaming and Revenue Act.

In addition to several strip properties barring Cerasani, there are some other operators outside Nevada that have reportedly banned Cerasani, including Foxwoods, Seminole Gaming, and Hard Rock International.

It makes sense that Hard Rock and Seminole Gaming would be particularly irritated by John Cerasani's promotion of an online sportsbook, as Hard Rock has a complete monopoly on legal, licensed sports betting in Florida, plus the Hard Rock sports wagering brand is available through licenses in Arizona, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, New Jersey, Ohio, Tennessee, and Virginia.

This may also be a shot over the bow for other celebrity casino influencers like Lady Luck, NG Slot, and Vegas Matt, all three of which have seemingly close ties to sweepstakes casino operators that have recently come under fire.

While the sweepstakes casinos are legal in the states where they operate, their may be a limit to what land-based casinos are willing to tolerate from influencer types.

Two More Massive Pai Gow Jackpots Scored in Las Vegas

It seems like those Pai Gow Poker progressive jackpots at Las Vegas casinos are the place to be, as the game seems to be producing disproportionate numbers of life-changing jackpots as of late.

The streak continues with this week's update.

This past Thursday, a Nevada resident from the northern part of the state scored a massive jackpot while visiting the South Point Hotel, Casino & Spa in Las Vegas.

Their haul? A whopping $224,789 progressive jackpot. Even better, their Fortune Bonus side bet snagged them $6,000 more on top of that.

That wasn't even the largest Pai Gow Poker progressive jackpot hit in Las Vegas last week.

A lucky player from California had a life-changing win at the Pai Gow tables over at Paris Las Vegas last Monday, scoring an incredible win of $471,316 by hitting the Pai Gow Mega Jackpot.

The visitor, Lien C. of Danville, California, was in town for the Raiders' home game and had been playing for around three hours when she was dealt a seven-card straight flush, landing her the Mega Jackpot.

I hate when others realize my dreams coming true for them instead.

Just kidding. Our sincere congratulations go out to both winners.

Tilman Fertitta Nixes Vegas Strip Resort Development

One of the large shareholders in Wynn Resorts, Tilman Fertitta, was planning to build a casino resort, Center Strip, with more than 2,400 guest rooms and a 2,500 seat theater, but now the plans are on ice.

The project, planned for the corner of Las Vegas Boulevard and Harmon Avenue, got put on hold after Fertitta thought better of the potential conflict of interest with his huge Wynn Resorts stake.

Fertitta, the largest single shareholder in Wynn Resorts, holds 13 million shares in the company. That's a stake worth over $1.4 billion.

According to Fertitta Entertainment Executive VP and General Counsel Steven L. Scheinthal, Fertitta will not be completing the proposed project as long as he maintains his stake in Wynn Resorts.
