The Wild Pistolero symbol is the wild symbol in the game and it appears stacked on the reels. This wild symbol can substitute for all symbols in the base game with a few exceptions: the saloon scatter symbol, and hold and win symbols (gun cylinders or bullets.)

During the base game spins, collect three or more of the saloon building symbols anywhere on the reels during a spin and you will trigger the free games feature.

Get six or more combined gun cylinders (with coin or jackpot values) and/or bullet or two bullet symbols, and you will trigger the hold and spin feature. (There are some twists, but this feature is similar to those found on Fire Link slot machines.)

Wild Pistolero Free Spins Bonus

As mentioned previously, the free spins bonus feature is triggered by getting three or more scattered saloon building symbols during the base game. This triggers a bonus with five free spins.

During the free spins bonus, it appears to be easier to get the stacked wilds and more of the symbols that trigger the hold and spin bonus appear to be on the reels.

One difference is that there are no gun cylinder symbols on the reels during the free games. During the free spins, there are lots of one bullet and two bullet symbols, so if you do unlock the hold and spin feature, you have a greater chance of moving up to the higher levels of the feature. (More about that later.)

Additionally, the free spins bonus can be retriggered indefinitely. Each time you retrigger the bonus, you will be awarded five additional free spins.

Wild Pistolero Hold and Spin Feature

The big prize in the Wild Pistolero slot machine is the hold and spin bonus feature, referred to as the Mega Fire Blaze Respin Feature in the game, but who calls it that?

Any combination of six or more gun cylinders, one bullet, or two bullet symbols during a spin will trigger the hold and spin feature.

At the outset of the bonus, all triggering gun cylinder and bullet symbols are held in their positions where they originally landed on the reels. Five new rows are added above the original reels and each new row is marked by two padlocks.

Unlocking Additional Rows

Each bullet symbol landed in an active area, including those that triggered the bonus, will unlock one padlock. A two bullet symbol will unlock two padlocks instead of one. Once all padlocks in a row have been unlocked, that new row becomes an active part of the game.

The player is given three free spins to start the bonus to try and capture more gun cylinders and bullets. Every time a symbol lands in an active row of the grid, the free spins counter resets to three spins. The bonus ends when all of the player's spins have been exhausted.

If you have filled all available positions in your unlocked rows, but still have spins to use, you will get to use them to attempt to hit the grand jackpot on the wheel at the top of the reels.

Special Symbols During Respins

There are several special symbols active during the respins. These are the different ones that may appear, along with their features:

• Gun Cylinder - These symbols contain a prize. It can either be a cash award 1x-50x total bet or it can be a star. Star prizes are revealed at the end of the bonus and transform into a jackpot; Mini (20x bet), Minor (100x bet), or Major (500x bet.)
• Bullet & Double Bullet - These symbols help unlock padlocks and rows. Single bullets unlock one padlock and double bullets unlock two. After they unlock the padlocks, they transform into a prize of 1x bet.
• Woman Symbol - When she lands in a space in an unlocked row, she awards a multiplier to the entire row in which she lands. That multiplier is applied to all wins present in that row when the feature ends. It is possible to land the woman symbol multiple times in a row and get an even larger multiplier. After she reveals her multiplier, her symbol converts into a prize value. If there are already seven or more rows active, the woman symbol sometimes displays a jackpot award instead of a multiplier.
• Cowboy Symbol - When the cowboy symbol lands in an active row, he will shoot his gun at up to ten other previously landed prizes and increase their values. The cowboy then converts into a prize in his space on the grid.
• Banker Symbol - Whenever the banker symbol lands in an unlocked row, he will trigger a spin of the wheel at the top of the grid. If six or fewer rows are unlocked, the wheel will land on either a multiplier or star (jackpot) icon. If seven or more rows are unlocked, the wheel will land on either the grand jackpot (2000x bet) or nothing. Once the wheel is spun, the banker symbol converts into a prize in his place on the grid.
