B2 Services Casino Brands Back in Georgia and Alabama

It was starting to seem like a broken record. With each month that passed and as the heat was cranked up on social casino operators, sweepstakes casinos were leaving the markets in several states, most notably New York, New Jersey, and Arizona.

Each week the team at SportsBoom scours the web and news releases for info about sweeps casinos in the US to bring you the latest info you need to know. For a while, it had been starting to get depressing, especially for players in states where the legislatures, attorneys general and regulatory agencies were threatening operators.

However, this week brought some pleasant news.

B2 Services, the trusted company that operates many popular and well-regarded brands like McLuck Casino, Play Fame, Spin Blitz, and Hello Millions has decided to make a bold move and enter the Georgia and Alabama markets.

Until recently, both Georgia and Alabama were on the list of prohibited territories in the terms and conditions of each of the B2 Services casino brand sites.

For players, especially those in Georgia and Alabama, this development is game-changing.

Although elected officials in both states haven't really been threatening sweepstakes casinos like officials in states like New York, New Jersey, and Arizona, there were some reasons why B2 wasn't accepting players from Georgia and Alabama.

Both states were among the most active in player lawsuits.

Alabama has over a dozen lawsuits currently running in the state with the "Who's Who" on the docket list, including VGW (Chumba, Luckyland Slots, and Global Poker), WOW Vegas, and Stake.us, to name a few.

Over in Georgia, lawsuits against VGW were the main culprit for some sites' hesitance to play in the market. However, as we reported recently, VGW won all three cases in the state, including one in the past few weeks.

With VGW's wins in the state, I expect that more operators will become more bullish on Georgia, as it is one of the most populated states in the country.

Ruby Sweeps is Leaving Mississippi (and Nobody Cares)

Although I most certainly live in the state of Florida, last night I received an e-mail from Ruby Sweeps stating that they were ceasing operations in Mississippi and that I would no longer be available to play while visiting the state.

Trust me, I have no intentions of visiting Mississippi anytime soon.

According to their e-mail:

"Due to changes in the state of Mississippi, we can no longer provide our services anymore. You will have until Friday, 08/15/2025 to play through any Emeralds you may have on your account. We will be shutting down in Mississippi on Friday 08/15/2025."

For those of you unfamiliar with Ruby Sweeps, they are a sweepstakes casino with games that will remind you of the first generation of land-based casino video slots. The animations are weak and the features are pretty lame. They do pay winners, but you have to avoid falling asleep while playing their games if you want the chance to win.

That said, I have been someone that collects their rather small daily bonus while drinking my coffee each morning. On one occasion I cashed out and was paid within two days.

So, despite the lame games, at least there's that.

For now, they are still operating in my state, Florida, but if they ever leave, I am sure that they won't be missed by me.
