The Bears’ offense has evolved into the most entertaining and dominant in the league, but their defense is still not on par, and perhaps this is the reason they have not outright been the best in their conference, as the Los Angeles Rams and Seattle Seahawks seem to have gotten the balance just right. 

Over the past eight games of the 2025 season, the Bears reportedly rank as the number one offense in the NFL. They lead the league in explosive play rate. Their points per game are around 25-26 per game, rushing yards are over 2100, rushing touchdowns between 12-17, passing yards are around 3200, while they have managed turnovers relatively well. The Bears' ground game is a major strength, as they rank second in the league in rushing.

Before their dominant 31-3 win over the Cleveland Browns this past weekend, the Bears had claimed victories against the Philadelphia Eagles 24-15, Pittsburgh Steelers 31-28, Minnesota Vikings 19-17, and New York Giants 24-20, with their only loss during that period coming against the Packers 28-21. 
Coach Benjamin Johnson will be extremely motivated to avenge the earlier loss in front of a charged home crowd.

Chicago Bears Injury Report

The Bears will be without Kyler Gordon and Travis Homer, who suffered groin and ankle injuries, respectively. Rome Odunze is questionable, but he may be available after rehabilitating from his foot injury.  The Bears have adequate cover, and these injuries will barely impact the team’s performance.
